Psychiatrist
This position would primarily be based in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The position is available for full or part time employment.

General Description:

This is highly responsible work providing psychiatric services within the agency programs of a multi-service substance abuse and mental health treatment agency. The Psychiatrist works with some guidance from an administrative superior in accordance with functional procedures, practices, and polices. The work requires analytical thinking and diagnostic skills. Contact is with clients, colleagues, other agency officials and/or emergency consultation. He/She may be responsible for providing staff training and supervision; and monitoring of treatment documentation and quality review processes. Work is reviewed through conferences and evaluation of reports. Duties are performed under minimal supervision and require a high degree of professional judgment and dedication to client care.

Duties:

1. Conducts psychiatric evaluations and assigns diagnoses to all clients in crisis residential facility and outpatient clinics, and to other clients as requested.
2. Prescribes and/or monitors medications for clients as needed.
3. Clinically supervises the treatment of clients.
4. Monitors treatment planning documentation on a regular basis, and    approves Initial Evaluations and Treatment Plans.
5. Participates periodically in quality review process and procedures
6. Provides staff training on relevant clinical topics.
7. Be available for emergency consultations.
8. Answers specific psychiatric questions for Counselors and other staff.

Qualifications:

1. Physician with Psychiatric training, licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania – Board Certified or Board Eligible.
2. Four (4) years experience as a practicing Psychiatrist.
3. Experience with additiction, alcoholism or dual addiction is preferred, but not required.
4. Experience with child psychiatry is preferred, but not required.

Outpatient Therapist [ FFS ]

Job Description:
This position has openings in Seaford, DE; New Castle, DE; and Dover, DE locations.

Open Door, Inc. provides confidential mental health and substance abuse services to children, adolescents, adults and their families. Clients are offered a full range of outpatient services including:

It is the responsibility of the Outpatient Therapist to conduct individual, group and family therapy with outpatient clients.

Job Description:

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is seeking qualified candidates for Crisis Specialists in Chester County, PA. Holcomb’s Valley Creek Crisis system located in Exton, PA includes telephone crisis counseling, crisis walk-in, mobile crisis outreach, crisis residential and a consumer-driven warm line. All of Holcomb’s Chester County crisis services are housed from this location reasonably central to the county for ready access by consumers, families and the community. The proximity of the services to each other facilitates a seamless transfer between services as needed to effectively meet a consumer’s needs.

Holcomb’s crisis service emphasizes recovery principles and maintains hospital diversion as a primary goal unless truly necessary. Subsequently, the utilization of mobile outreach services will be emphasized in the effort to assist with both crisis de-escalation and hospital diversion. Holcomb’s consumer-driven warm line is implemented to offer consumer’s within the county access to peer support for pre-emergent issues. Our crisis service has structured outcome measures to determine the consumer satisfaction and clinical efficacy of the interventions. Our services include the following:

-Telephone Crisis Counseling:
Run by staff (masters & bachelor’s level)
Operational 24 hours a day
Provides counseling, consultation, education and referral
Service available to consumers, family members, providers, police
Solution-oriented interventions

-Mobile Crisis:

Mobile outreach to homes, schools, community, etc.
