What the Contest is all about:

The goal of this contest is to encourage all students to value healthy lifestyles and to think about the consequences of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use.  This tradition is a wonderful way to reinforce your school’s prevention initiatives by involving students in a countywide effort.

Students and their families are delighted when their posters are chosen to be featured in the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Awareness Calendar published the following year.

Why we do this:

We believe this project helps to teach our youth that making positive choices is important for every youth in Delaware County.  We hope to see every school listed in the “participating schools” section of the calendar!

On behalf of the Delaware County Office of Behavioral Health, Division of Drug and Alcohol, Holcomb Prevention and Education is excited to announce the 21st annual Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Awareness Student Poster Contest.

How it Works

It can be coordinated into your curriculum in many ways--art classes, health classes, or other appropriate areas.
