A vital part of Holcomb's prevention services include both individual and group parenting workshops.

Parenting Wisely is an interactive CD or video-based program designed to help parents of youth ages 10 to 18 build skills for improving communication, supervision, monitoring and discipline.

This program is for individual use, and can be completed at home or at your local Delaware County Library. This CD program is absolutely FREE to Delaware County residents who wish to use it. CD's can be obtained by visiting the Holcomb Media Office (484-444-0412) or at your local Delaware County library.


 

Holcomb's group program, Parent to Parent, is developed to help prevent alcohol, tobacco and other drug involvement among youth. These FREE classes are currently being scheduled and enrollment will begin in Fall 2007. Please check back later this summer or call Holcomb at 484-444-0412 for more information.
